Welcome to Morso, a quaint cafe nestled along Nordendstraße in the heart of Munich. This charming little spot is more than just a coffee shop; it’s a haven for those seeking a cozy atmosphere paired with delightful culinary offerings. With its prime location directly at the tram station, it's perfect for a quick coffee break or a leisurely weekend outing.

As you step inside Morso, you'll immediately notice the Italian-inspired vibe that permeates the air. The cafe’s interior may be snug, but its intimate setting encourages friendly chats and warm encounters. For those sun-chasing souls, the outdoor seating provides an idyllic perch for people-watching - a perfect spot to enjoy a leisurely sandwich, lovingly crafted and labeled Hausgemacht (homemade) by the staff.

One customer, Shirin Shayegan, captures this beautifully: “It is a smallish cafe with a street view. The outdoor tables are perfect on a sunny day... Great for meeting friends or having a date.” The atmosphere indeed strikes a chord, making it a go-to destination for friends, lovers, and even solo adventurers alike.

And speaking of what's on offer, there’s no shortage of scrumptious treats to indulge in. From flaky pistachio croissants to rich and creamy pastries, each mouthful speaks of careful preparation and authentic flavors. Yu-Shan Huang notes, “Customers can help themselves to get the pastries and pay afterward,” which creates a casual yet inviting experience. The menu also features light bites like sandwiches and paninis that are ideal for a quick lunch or snack between activities.

However, it's crucial to keep in mind that this gem can be quite popular. V Y describes Morso as “extremely popular with local crowd,” noting that it can fill up quickly, and the ordering system might feel slightly cramped during busy hours. But don’t let that deter you! The hustle and bustle add to Morso's vibrant charm.

Now let’s not forget the coffee! Expect a superb brew, whether you’re opting for their creamy flat whites or the authentic Italian espresso. Customers rave about its quality, even if the service can sometimes feel a bit impersonal. As Lauren points out, “Service underwhelming and staff are cold and unwelcoming,” it’s a reminder that the experience is not just about the drink but how it’s served. Still, many patrons like Ammar Rizvi would gladly return for the excellent coffee and cakes - the Kakao cake, in particular, receives praise for its moist texture and delicious flavor.

So whether you’re seeking a spot to chat with friends over an Aperol on a sunny Sunday or a quick coffee during the week, Morso is a delightful choice with a vibe that captures the essence of Munich’s local cafe culture.

It is a smallish cafe with a street view. The outdoor tables are perfect on a sunny day. If you want to get a small sandwich there are a lot of choices you can decide on and they were all Hausgemacht. Great for meeting friends or having a date.

Super cute place!! Perfect for a Sunday aperol, a quick coffee, some pastry :) it’s directly at the tram station so could be a little bit noisy. But very cool vibes. Target group starting geom late 20s

I had one pistachio croissant and a cream one, both were good but expensive! The price is 10-20% more expensive than other places. The coffee quality was not superb

Italian-style coffee shop with decent creamy flat whites and nice window seating in front of the window. Extremely popular with local crowd and considering very limited square footage prepare that it will be narrow inside, it gets filled up real quick and line will be pretty constant as one needs to order at the counter and get the order too…which is a little uncomfortable I guess. Some limited food offer with baked goods and appetizers. Saw several signs of „laptop free zone“ and knowing how people like to take advantage of sitting in a coffee places here for hours instead of properly going to a co-working/library, I personally consider it a HUGE plus.

Excellent true Italian espresso. Service underwhelming and staff are cold and unwelcoming.

Friendly and casual. Customers can help themselves to get the pastries and pay afterward. The espresso is great, and they also have some tea choices. Light dishes, such as the sandwiches, cakes, and paninis, are available and nice. Recommend for having a break here with local people.

Small cosy cafe serving excellent coffee and delicious cakes (the Kakao cake was moist and the crust biscuit like). The prices are reasonable and the staff very friendly. The only negative point is it’s small size. I’d come back here again!
